Use this page to manually enter an adjusted short transaction for a stock.

Procedure
From the Manually Record Trades page, click Stock and then select Adjusted Short from the drop-down list. The Stock - Adjusted Short Transaction Entry page displays.
The Action on this page is automatically set to Adjusted Short. To enter a different transaction type, select it from this drop-down list.
Enter the symbol of the security in the Symbol field. Click Verify to confirm you have entered the correct symbol for the security.
Enter the date of the short was opened in the Transaction Date field. You can also click the Calendar icon and select the appropriate date from the calendar that displays.
Enter the number of shares as of the baseline date in the Shares as of Baseline Date field.
Enter the Baseline Date A benchmark date used as a basis for comparison., which is the last date that you updated your holdings and cost basis. GainsKeeper will not adjust this lot for any corporate actions occurring on or prior to this date. The baseline date can be specific to each lot you enter.
Enter the total proceeds as of the baseline date in the Total Proceeds as of Baseline Date field. You can also click the Calendar icon and select the appropriate date from the calendar that displays.
To record the Adjusted Short transaction, click the Record button. To record the transaction and continue to enter additional transactions, click the Record and Repeat button. To leave this page, without recording the transaction, click Cancel.
